Raymarine Evolution Autopilot with R70Rs Control Head with ACU-150, no drive - T70407
This pilot pack is supplied without a drive. It is intended for use with existing Type 1 hydraulic drives, ideal if you want to upgrade your existing ST4000 or ST5000 autopilot system, but have a perfectly serviceable drive. Upgrading would give a significant improvement in performance, particularly at the ends of the the speed envelopes, for example improved course keeping at slow speeds when fishing or recovering fishing gear.

The EV Sensor Core
At the centre of every Evolution system is the intelligent EV sensor core, a 9-axis sensor that monitors vessel motion in all three dimensions. The innovative EV sensor core combines advanced solid-state sensors with the Evolution autopilot processor into a single easy-to-install housing.
Mount the EV sensor core above or below decks, the rugged enclosure is fully sealed and built to IPX6 and IPX7 waterproofing and submersion standards.

Autopilot Control Unit (ACU) - ACU 150
The Raymarine ACU-150 is a component of the Evolution™ Autopilot system and is designed to provide power and control to a Raymarine Type-1 Hydraulic Drive Unit (M81120.)
The ACU-150 connects to the SeaTalkng network for communication with its other peripherals. It also has connections for an optional Rudder Reference Unit (sold separately.) The ACU-150 works on 12-volt DC systems only.
EV-1 Systems with Raymarine Drives
The EV-1 is designed for Evolution mechanical and hydraulic autopilot systems. SeaTalkng networking enables a single cable connection for power and data to the Evolution ACU (actuator control unit) and extended SeaTalkng and NMEA2000 networks.
