Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro Multi Function Displays
These come in three different screen sizes, 9", 12" and 16"
and in each size there are two versions, the "S" version and the "RVM" version. These signify the different echosounder modules built in to the display unit. It is only the echosounder that is different, in all other aspects they are the same.
"S" Version
in simple terms, this is an entry level fishfinder/depth instrument. It will display either numerically or in the form of a traditional fishfinder.
Single Channel 100watt, High CHIRP conical sonar
Depth range - 0.6 m (2 ft) to 274 m (900 ft) Depending on water conditions
Transducer connection - 25 pin RealVision type connector. Requires the A80490 adaptor cable for CPT-S style transducers
"RVM" Version
this version is the one for more serious echosounding. If you are a fisherman, or wreck diver, you want this one! This has two separate echosounders in it and provides RealVision 3D mapping, SideVision (side scan), DownVison and Traditional CHIRP echosounders.
