This Speed Sensor is a transom-mounted paddlewheel that uses the flow of water beneath the boat to measure speed.
The Speed Sensor can be teamed up with a Fuel Flow Sensor to monitor the vessel’s fuel economy.
Key Features:
- Enables Fuel Economy calculation when used with Fuel Flow Sensor on network
- Outputs speed through water
- Transom-mount paddle wheel
- Ideal for slow, trolling speeds, where GPS is not as accurate
- Shares paddle wheel speed to any networked display, unlike sonar based paddlewheel sensors
- Includes a NMEA 2000® T connector
- Cable Length: 18" (46cm) from connector to smart module. 10 ft (3 m) from module to end of cable
- Mounting location: Transom. Hole required to route through a bulkhead: 7/8" (22mm)
