Compact and waterproof NMEA compass sensor transmits NMEA 0183 sentence HDG to Clipper, Target and Cruiser or other equipment.

This can be used as heading source for radar systems to allow North up or Course up display. Will also allow Radar overlay on combination Radar/ chartplotter systems.
Can be used on certain chartplotters that will operate in Course Up mode.
Note, the output signal of this unit is approximately once per second, for Radar systems with MARPA target tracking, 10 times per second (10Hz) is ideal. For 10Hz output, look at gyro stabilized systems.
