Sterling ProSplit D - LowV Drop Split Charge 200A3 - D200A3
For use with a single alternator upto 200Amp into 3 battery banks
Used where one alternator is required to charge three batteries simultaneously. The diode block splits the alternator output whilst isolating the batteries from each other. This is done to prevent one battery discharging into the other.
Ideal for use in conjunction with a Sterling Advanced Regulator that automatically compensates for the volt drop and increases charge rate.
Diodes have the following advantages over splitting relays;
- Complete battery to battery isolation
- Solid state, maintenance free construction
- Vibration proof
- All batteries permanently connected
