The new Simrad range of EPIRBs features the latest in EPIRB technology. The small size and wide choice of variants make this range the ideal choice for professional, SOLAS and recreational users alike.
Activating your EPIRB will give you the confidence that the rescue authorities will have rapid indication that your vessel is in distress. Satellite technology detects your transmission and locates the beacon anywhere in the world.
All models are automatically activated on contact with salt water. A specially developed battery pack is exempted from hazardous transport requirements greatly reducing the cost and complexity of transportation.
This version is complete with Automatic release, float free housing. Epirb is automatically released from the housing in the event of the vesel sinking. Epirb automatically starts to transmit.
