Iridium Airtime Contracts
Iridium Airtime contracts are available in two formats, either Post Paid or Pre Paid.
All Satellite charges are in US Dollars and are exclusive of VAT.
On selection of an option below, a contract will be raised and posted to you for signing. The £6 charge (£2.75 + £3.25 postage) is a one off charge for setting up your contract and account with Iridium, and to confirm a valid card is available.
The £6 charge will be credited back to your credit card once your Airtime agreement contract is returned and activated.
All Satellite charges will be against the card you submit with this order. Your card details will be held on file for account top-ups at your request. The contracts are standard legal documents with no catches or hidden charges. If you require a copy of the contract terms in advance, please email us.
Prices are quoted in US Dollars as Iridium charge in US Dollars. The currency conversion will be carried out by your Credit Card issuer.
Post Paid
This has a minimum contract term of 12 months
This has a fixed monthly line rental charge - US$34.00
Calls to PSTN/Data - US$1.35 per minute
Iridium to Iridium - US$0.90 per minute
Other Satellite - US$9.25 per minute
SMS Sending - US$0.40 per message
Pre Paid (Pay As You Go)
With this option, airtime is bought in blocks in advance. There is no activation or monthly charges, but the minutes do expire if not used within the quoted time period.
Pre Paid 500
This is 500 minutes of Airtime valid for 12 months. - $795
Pre Paid 75
This is 75 minutes of Airtime valid for one month. - $152.50
Once a Pre Paid SIM card is activated then there are two additional "building blocks" available:
Either an "extend expiry" block which for US$39.00 adds one month of expiry to existing minutes
Or an "extend minutes" block which for US$75.00 adds 50 minutes with no extension to the expiry time.
