The SLR200G is a Dual Channel synthesized AIS receiver fitted with an integral GPS Receiver.
Connection of an external GPS and VHF antenna enables the SLR200G to output position, course and speed along with AIS data received on one single port. It enables boats sailing in busy shipping lanes, to receive AIS (Automatic Identification System) information being transmitted from either vessels over 300 tons that, due to recent world-wide legislation, are required to fit Class "A" AIS transponders. or small craft Class "B" transmissions.
Connected to a compatible on board PC running a Navigation Program, or Chart Plotter, the information can be displayed on screen giving the skipper or harbour authority a visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range. This information is updated every 3 seconds to 6 minutes depending on speed and rate of turn, enabling the track of the vessels in range to be plotted.

- Dual channel parallel synthesised AIS receiver
- Fitted with an internal GPS receiver. When connected to an external GPS antenna the unit outputs own vessels position, course and speed, together with the AIS data. This provides GPS and AIS data to the PC or Chartplotter via only one port.
- Receives all messages from Class A, Class B and Aids to Navigation
- Compatible with all AIS enabled Chartplotters and PC Navigation programs
- Monitor the position, speed and heading of other vessels within VHF range.
